As a FinTech commercial lender in rapid-growth mode, their differentiation strategy is employing technological integration into all of their processes to enable an efficient lending experience for both their clients and their internal team. With deep capital partners and institutional investment backing, they are looking to originate $1 billion in loans over the next 12 months.

About the Role
Our client is in search of highly motivated and customer-centric individuals to join their team as Loan Originators. They are looking for sales professionals who are dedicated to enhancing the customer experience and adept at sourcing and fostering strategic relationships.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a proven track record of achieving $3 million or more in monthly origination volume within the fix/flip, ground-up construction, single-family rental, and/or short-term bridge financing sectors.
Responsibilities
As a vital member of the team, your role as a Loan Originator encompasses a range of responsibilities aimed at identifying and capitalizing on new lending opportunities within the investor residential real estate sector. Key duties include:
Sales Focus and Relationship Building:
- Drive sales by establishing and strengthening relationships with property investors, brokers, and real estate agents. Utilize various channels, including company leads, referrals, and participation in industry events.
- Pre-qualify loan requests, determine proper loan structure, create quotes and term sheets for potential clients.
Loan Processing Facilitation:
- Facilitate the borrower approval process by collecting and providing necessary information required for submission to the loan processing department.
Pipeline Management:
- Effectively manage and prioritize a dynamic pipeline of potential clients and loan applications, ensuring timely follow-ups and updates to meet established targets.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive client database within the CRM system, ensuring effective utilization of contact management tools and customer relationship management practices.
Interdepartmental Collaboration:
- Foster strong partnerships with leaders in Processing, Underwriting, Valuations and other departments, prioritizing the loan pipeline and collaborating to overcome any interdepartmental roadblocks.
Industry Events and Networking:
- Attend industry events and conferences, employing strategic pre-planning, onsite meetings, and post-event outreach to identify and convert leads.
Qualifications
- Experience working in similar industry, such as private money, investment, capital, etc. (required).
- Current or Past experience working for our client's direct competitors, preferred
- Proven track record of achieving $3 million or more in monthly origination volume in fix/flip, ground-up construction, single-family rental, and/or short-term bridge financing.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform financial calculations.
- Ability to structure the loans according to the customer's needs and the bank's underwriting guidelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Compensation is a base + commission/bonus structure and is based on years of experience and performance.
